CLICK HERE TO REGISTER. Then pay sliding scale $385 – $430 to tucker-peck on Venmo

Tucker will be teaching a residential retreat at this awesome mansion in Bodega Bay.  It starts at 6PM on Friday April 3 and ends at 2PM on Monday April 6.  Attendees must be present and on retreat the whole time.  During the retreat, we’ll practice Noble Silence, meaning we will generally not speak, and we will completely refrain from any communication technologies.  There will be an emergency contact number if folks need to reach you.  You can take a look at the full, brief retreat code of conduct.

Schedule Most of the day we’ll be doing sitting and walking meditation. There will be three meals: a big breakfast, catered lunch from a restaurant, and a light snack-style dinner. You’ll have one scheduled meeting with Tucker, and a bunch of other opportunities to meet with him at office hours. You’ll also have one scheduled meeting with Dr. Kati Devaney, the assistant teacher (unless this is the first retreat in many years that’s so weirdly small that we only need one teacher).

Carpool The center is 1.5 – 2 hours from San Francisco. Once you register, you’ll get a link to a rideshare spreadsheet. We’ll invite people to arrive early if they’d like, to help avoid rush hour traffic.

Registration & Payment There are two quick steps to register.  Please fill out this brief form and send the registration fee via Venmo to tucker-peck (contact me if you don’t have Venmo).  It’s a sliding scale from $385 – $430.  This only covers the cost of lodging, food, and supplies; it does not pay for teachings.  In Buddhist tradition, you’ll pay for these afterwards by donation.  There’s no suggested donation; the only idea is to be generous, whatever that means for you.  If you want to come and can’t afford $385, you can apply (ASAP) for a scholarship through the Open Dharma Foundation (You’ll need to apply for ≤ $300, or you won’t hear back in time for the retreat).

Cancellation Policy If you cancel prior to March 3, you’ll be refunded 50%. If you cancel on March 4 or later, your registration is nonrefundable.

The Facility If you’re used to the retreats at Hillside, this will feel much more upscale. Most retreatants will get a real bed, sheets, etc. Check back here shortly for more info on exactly what they provide and what you should bring. We probably can’t offer anyone a private room, but if you have a good reason to need one, you’re welcome to ask.
